Welcome to RUK-X Engine Builder 'CAPACITY' MESOCYCLE 2 of 3: Weeks 5–8 (of 12) → Raise lactate threshold, improve VO₂ max, enhance recovery You have now completed the Engine Builder ‘BASE’ Mesocycle 1.0, “The engine foundation is built. Now we teach it to work” The Capacity Phase now converts the aerobic base built in mesocyle 1.0 into usable performance. In this phase you will learn to: Sustain harder efforts Recover faster between bouts Stay composed while uncomfortable Work closer to their ceiling without breaking down For many strength athletes, this is the phase that changes how conditioning feels — no longer panic-driven, no longer sloppy, but controlled under pressure. PRIMARY OBJECTIVES Over the next 4 weeks you will: Raise lactate threshold (work harder for longer) Improve VO₂ max and aerobic ceiling Increase buffering capacity and repeatability Develop confidence under sustained discomfort Continue fat loss while preserving muscle Improve recovery between hard training sessions This phase is demanding — but intelligent.
